Evermore (Book 1 of the Immortals Series) by Alyson Noel

I had so much fun reading this book. I read it in a day, and couldn't wait to start on the second of the series.

This book follows Ever Bloom, struck by the tragedy of losing her entire family. After a long time in recovery at the hospital, she moves from her hometown of Eugene, Oregon to Laguna Beach to live with her aunt, Sabine. The trouble with all of this is that Ever died, but came back to life, and when she came back, she had some, should we say, problems. She was psychic. She could read minds, see someone's entire life just by their touch, and much more.

A new guy comes to town named Damen Auguste that she intently tries to ignore, but he doesn't let up. Caught in a whirlwind romance, that's filled with confusion brings her to the fight for her life as she uncovers the truth about her beloved.

I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just leave it at that. This book was worthwhile and I really liked it. It's a quick read too, so you'll be ready for the next fairly quickly.

Oh i'm a bit surprise to hear good things about this book. I haven't read it, i was going to buy it...then i read only bad reviews of it, and fellow bloggers couldn't even remember what the story was about when i asked them about it. So i didn't buy it.(because yeah if i'm to buy a book, i wanna be sure it's a good one lol)

Of course now i'm intriguied because you liked it!That does mean something, because i trust your tastes in books

I won't give anything away, but I really enjoyed it. It's a YA book so it's fast, but it was worth it. You will probably get pretty angry at Damen a lot in the books, but they make sense in the end!
